Приложение позволяет работать с файлами в различных форматах, включая wav, aiff, au, mp3, wma, flac и др. При этом, для записи файла в формате mp3 нужно дополнительно установить кодировщик LAME. Для сохранения файлов в форматах wma, m4a, ac3 и amr нужно скачать библиотеку FFmpeg, которая, как и LAME, не является частью аудиоредактора из-за проблем с лицензированием. Помимо этого, Audacity
